MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the school counseling program at Pilot Point Early Childhood Center is to provide all students with the academic, social, and emotional support that will inspire them to be life-long learners who are independent and productive citizens in their local and global community.

COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL COUNSELING PROGRAM​

Comprehensive school counseling programs are holistic, systemic, balanced, proactive, integrated into the academic curriculum, and reflective. It consists of four parts: guidance curriculum, individual planning, responsive services, and system support.

Counselor integrates developmentally appropriate lessons that address life skills.

Counselor focuses on the particular needs of individual students in regard to academics, career, and personal goals.

Counselor addresses immediate academic and social emotional concerns of students.

Counselor collaborates with faculty to ensure all students' success. Counselor also attends professional development trainings.
