POWER PACKS

The Power Packs ministry exists to serve children in our community who are in need of meals on the weekend who would otherwise do without. Power Packs serves children in Pilot Point and Collinsville public schools. They provide non-perishable, easy to open, and minimal cooking food items. If you would like to sign your child up for this program please fill out the google document below.

ASSISSTANCE WITH SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Ranch Hands Rescue Animal Sanctuary, Trauma Therapy, Safe House

Description: Ranch Hand Rescue’s Counseling Center uses animals, that they have rescued, to pair with children and adults. The animals help clients cope with the social, emotional, and cognitive development that has been affected by traumatic events they have experienced. The counselors use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Equine and Animal Assisted Therapy to enhance the lives of clients of all ages.

Millwood Hospital Behavioral Health Center

Description: This center offers a day treatment that meets the social/emotional and behavioral needs of children, ages 5-18. Complimentary assessments are conducted Monday through Friday. They offer free transportation for clients that live within a twenty-five mile radius of the center.

Social Skills Programs United Through Hope

Description: This is a 501c3 non-profit organization serving individuals and their families within the North Texas area. They offer innovative programs geared towards individuals with social difficulties as a result of Autism Spectrum Disorders, bullying, AD/HD, and other challenges. There does not have to be a diagnosis for participating in the programs, just a social need.

FOOD BANKS

Description: This is an all volunteer organization. Food is distributed based on size of family. It provides food assistance to families in need or in an emergency situation.It is open Monday-Friday 1:00 pm-3:00 pm. 

Description: This is a community soup kitchen that is open Monday-Friday serving free nutritious meals.

Description: This is a non-profit organization in the Denton community that provides assistance to senior citizens such as delivering nutritious meals to homes, transportation services, and social services to veterans. It is for community members in need, including people with disabilities.
